Once upon a time, in the charming state of Connecticut, there was a delightful bunch of kids who had a peculiar hobby. They were not into video games, sports, or comic books. They were into something much more melodious and magical - playing musical instruments! Our story takes place in the heart of Connecticut, a place known for its picturesque landscape, with rolling hills and beautiful forests that look like a giant's green quilt spread across the land. Now don't be fooled, this is not your ordinary quilt, but a magical one where each patch is a bustling town with enchanting stories. Among these towns, there existed a group of musically talented kiddos who march to the beat of their own cymbal, or rather, strum to the rhythm of their own guitar. They called themselves the "Connecticut Crescendos". The leader of the pack was a cool, imaginary character named "Rhythmo". Rhythmo was born from the sound of a thunderous drum roll and had a body made of musical notes. He wore a jazzy hat made from a cymbal and played an air guitar that emitted colorful musical notes. The Connecticut Crescendos and their leader Rhythmo were known throughout the state for their enchanting symphonies and the laughter they spread. They could turn the dullest of days into a musical fiesta. The children of Connecticut would eagerly wait for their performances because seeing Rhythmo make music with his magical air guitar was a sight to behold! So here's to the land of the Nutmeg State, where every kid has a rhythm in their heart and a song on their lips, led by a cool, imaginary, musical maestro named Rhythmo!

For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.

Tracy's Tunes began back in 1994 with a single studio in a basement in Colchester, CT. With just one student, it wasn't long before Tracy found herself sending parents all over the state to pick up supplies for their children's lessons. In order to make it easier for them, she decided to open a store front in town and carry all of the supplies and accessories her students needed. With the store front came the need for more teachers and employees, so Tracy began to hire additional staff to teach a wider variety of instruments. Now, Tracy's Tunes has three teachers, four studios, and over 100 students. The range of instruments taught includes Piano, Guitar, Percussion, Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet and Trombone. The success of Tracy's Tunes is a testament to the dedication and hard work she has put in since opening the business in 1994. She has created an amazing learning environment for her students, and continues to strive to provide the best possible resources for them.

We are also grateful for Sara Slocum for stepping in and managing the day-to-day operations of the school while Mr. Sheff was caring for Ronna. In memory of Ronna, Mr. Sheff is in the process of starting a dance scholarship in her name to honor her commitment to dance. We look forward to learning more about this scholarship in the future. We are also thrilled to announce that the school has relaxed its mask protocol for the Fall Semester. Masks will be required for unvaccinated students and parents, as the safety of our students and faculty is of utmost importance. In other exciting news, we’ve just completed our new Podcast Studio! Music Together of Fairfield County (MTFC) was founded by Jackie Jacobs in April 1994. Jackie was the first to bring the renowned Music Together® program to Connecticut, having discovered her passion for it after taking her son Daniel to classes in Brooklyn Heights. As a former professional dancer and singer with a BA in dance education, she was excited to start her own program in Fairfield when she and her family moved to the suburbs. Jackie was inspired by the response her son had to the classes, as well as the research behind the program. She enjoyed learning about music and child development alongside Daniel’s learning, and was eager to teach the program to other families. Having seen the positive impact that the Music Together classes had on her son, Jackie was driven to spread the joy of music to other children in the Fairfield area.
