About Bartlett Park District (Official) in Bartlett, IL
On January 18th, 1964, the Bartlett Park District was formed after a successful public referendum vote. In 1969, the Village of Bartlett donated the first 13-acre parcel, which was part of Sunrise Park, to the District. Today, the Park District owns 577 acres and leases another 20 acres for the recreational needs of our community.
The Bartlett Park District offers a variety of amenities to the community, including 43 parks, a community center, two pools, two golf courses, a banquet facility, a ski hill, an athletic field complex, and a nature center. This has earned them the Distinguished Accredited Agency status in our state, with the Park District being a National Gold Medal finalist two years in a row in 2009 and 2010.
Bartlett Park District is committed to providing an array of recreational opportunities for our community. With its impressive array of facilities, the Park District has set the bar for excellence in the state. The District provides a safe and enjoyable place for residents to get active and have fun.

YOUTH LEAGUES
The Bartlett Park District offers a wide range of youth sports leagues throughout the year, including Basketball, Flag Football (summer), Girl's Softball, Soccer, T-ball, and Volleyball. Our youth sports leagues depend on volunteer head coaches, assistant coaches, and team coordinators. We provide all the necessary training, resources, and equipment to ensure you are prepared to coach and have a fun and rewarding experience. Please consider volunteering to coach a team.

AQUATICS
Our indoor aquatic facility, Splash Central, offers year-round open swimming, programming, and lap swimming. Amenities include a 12-foot waterslide, diving board, six lap lanes, a children’s slide and activity area, and a whirlpool for guests 18 and older. Splash Central is available for use through the purchase of an annual pass, or a daily fee.
Our outdoor aquatic facility, the Bartlett Aquatic Center, is open seasonally from Memorial Day Weekend to Sunday of Labor Day Weekend. Amenities include an eight-lane lap pool with a zero-depth entry section, a sand-play area, an 18-foot water slide, a children’s water slide, and a full concessions area. The Bartlett Aquatic Center hosts a variety of programs including swim lessons and the Bartlett Barracudas Swim Team. Features include a zero-depth entry pool, lap lanes, sun hill, lazy river, aquatic zipline, spray playground, body slides, plunge slide, and tube slide.

DANCE
Welcome to Twinkle Stars Dance! Twinkle Stars Dance is an age-specific class containing ballet, tap, and or jazz/creative movement. It is a well–rounded, effective program for teaching techniques to young dancers in a fun, accessible way. All classes are taught by Lisa’s School of Dance instructors and are held at the Bartlett Community Center.
