About Seabrook Stingrays Swim Team in Seabrook, TX
The Clear Creek Swim League (CCSL) is a non-profit organization that has been helping to make swimming a fun and safe activity for children and families in the Clear Creek and surrounding areas of Texas since 1964. The Seabrook Stingrays are proud members of the CCSL, and parents can be sure their children are in good hands knowing the team is governed by the CCSL's rules and regulations.
To ensure the safety of all participants, the Seabrook Stingrays require that each swimmer can swim 25 yards across the pool unassisted without stopping. The coaching staff and team board members will work with each swimmer to determine the appropriate stroke and technique to ensure a safe and enjoyable swimming experience.
The Clear Creek Swim League offers a wide variety of competitive and developmental swimming events and activities to foster an enjoyable and safe swimming experience. The Seabrook Stingrays are committed to upholding the CCSL's rules and regulations, and to making sure that each swimmer is confident and comfortable in the water. The team's requirement that each swimmer must be able to swim 25 yards across the pool unassisted without stopping is just one way that the Seabrook Stingrays are working to ensure a safe and fun swimming experience for all.

Stingrays Meet
At meets, swimmers compete against other swimmers of the same gender, age group, and general ability. There are five individual events: Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly, and Individual Medley. There are two relays: Freestyle Relay and Medley Relay. Each age group participates in each event type with the following exceptions: 8 and under do not swim Individual Medley; and 6 and under only swim Freestyle, Backstroke, and Freestyle Relay.
