At Waypost Camp, campers have the opportunity to experience independence and autonomy in a safe and supportive environment. They will be challenged to try new activities and learn new skills, while also learning to take responsibility for their own decisions. Campers gain a sense of confidence and accomplishment that will help them develop lifelong skills and relationships.
Campers at Waypost Camp have a chance to be part of a unique and special history. Established in 1942, Waypost Camp is the oldest continuously-operating camp site in Wisconsin and has been a part of the Wisconsin Association of Bible Camps since 1963. Over the years, the camp has adapted to the needs of its members, while still holding true to its original mission of providing a safe and welcoming environment where campers can build skills, relationships, and independence.

Settlers 9th - 12th Grade
Crossways camps build critical life skills, especially in teenagers! Independence, autonomy, problem-solving, grit - these are essential for making that transition into adulthood. Settlers experience extended river trips (Village only), overnight camp-outs, low ropes challenge courses, and take part in some of the program leadership onsite with our younger campers. Settlers also get to kick back and enjoy classic camp activities, late night campfires, nature hikes, and more. We take our Settlers deeper into Bible study and talk about the intersection of faith and real life, exploring what it means to love God and to be faithful examples of Christ's love in our world.
