Every day, after school, Sir Cheddar-Chip straps on his magical helmet, the Cheese Crown, and tugs on his Great Glove of Grip, the secrets of which have been passed down through generations of Wisconsinite cheese miners. Then, with a determined look in his eyes, he conquers rock faces taller than a hundred stacked cheese wheels. But something makes Sir Cheddar-Chip unique. You see, every time he reaches the top, instead of running back down like the other kids, he does a hilarious chicken dance, clucking and flapping his arms wildly. This always sends the other rock-climbing kids into fits of laughter. Here in Wisconsin, they believe the louder the laughter, the cheesier the cheese. So if you ever taste an incredibly cheesy chunk of Wisconsin cheddar, it's probably thanks to Sir Cheddar-Chip and his rock-climbing, chicken-dancing antics!

For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
For over 22 years, Boulders Climbing Gym East has been giving Madison locals a place to train and practice their beloved sport. Founded by local climbers, the gym began as a humble set up with sculpted walls, clay holds, and gravel floors. The climbing gym has now expanded to a new downtown location right off the Capitol Square, where they continue to introduce the sport to hundreds of new individuals every year. Boulders is proud to offer youth programs for all ages, experience levels, and abilities. These programs offer members a Boulders membership along with all the perks that individual members receive. Parents can find the perfect program for their children, from the youngest participants to the oldest.
