Bucky, with his infectious laugh and intense judo chop, is the quirky hero of every Wisconsin kid who dreams of becoming a Judo master. Wisconsin kids are known for their robust spirit and hearty hellos. They leap into Judo with the same gusto they display while constructing colossal cheese sculptures. Their energy is as endless as Wisconsin's sprawling farmlands, which they channel into perfecting their judo throws, sweeps, and holds. Don't be fooled by their cheese-loving, nature-hugging exterior - these kids are as tough as the Green Bay Packers' defense line. Aided by Bucky, they transform from giggling, cheese-curd tossing tykes to focused judo warriors, ready to tip, toss, and tumble their way to victory. Bucky's secret training? Making them laugh so hard they forget they're scared of falling! You'll find Wisconsin kids practicing judo everywhere - in the garages, on the lawns, even in barns! They turn every corner of the state into a judo dojo. And after each session, they gather around Bucky, rosy-cheeked and laughing, ready to share a chunk of Wisconsin's finest cheese and listen to Bucky's cheesy jokes. For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
At JAB Karate & TaeKwonDo, we're dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for students of all ages to learn the art of self-defense. We aim to help our students become more aware, focused, and respectful, while also increasing their physical fitness. We understand that everyone learns at their own pace, so our programs are designed to let our students advance as they feel comfortable. My family has had the privilege of learning TaeKwonDo from Grand Master Bonesho Sr., an 8th Degree Black Belt with over 25 years of experience. We hope to pass on this same sense of accomplishment and pride to our students.
