Deep in the heart of the United States, there lies a magical land known as Wisconsin. Now, Wisconsin isn't your ordinary state. Oh no, it's a place where cheese and football reign supreme, where dairy cows have their own beauty pageants and where the rivers flow with gallons of root beer. But that's not all. It's also home to the most fearless, funniest, and freakishly good group of volleyball-playing kids you will ever meet. They're a wild bunch, these Wisconsinite whippersnappers. Why, they can serve a ball so fast it could outzoom a corn-hungry raccoon. They can spike with the power of a hundred cheese-fueled rockets. And they can dig with the resilience of a badger, the state animal, mind you! Leading this rag-tag team of volleyball virtuosos is their unfathomably cool coach, Captain Cheddar. This former cheese curd champion turned volleyball visionary is a sight to behold. He's tall as a silo, and his hair is as yellow and spiky as the finest Wisconsin cheddar. He's got a laugh like a honking Canadian goose and a heart as big as Lake Michigan. Captain Cheddar's training methods are a little unorthodox. He's been known to make his team practice while balancing on balance beams, dodging flying cheese curds, and even while singing their favorite tunes backwards. But all this zaniness has a purpose. You see, Captain Cheddar believes that if you can hit a volleyball while yodeling 'Old MacDonald' in reverse, well then, you can do just about anything. So, if you're ever in Wisconsin and see a flash of a cheese-shaped volleyball flying over a net, you're probably witnessing the volleyball maestros in action. And remember, in the words of Captain Cheddar, "Volleyball isn't just a game, it's a cheese-tacular adventure!"

For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
