The Associated Students is a self-supporting auxiliary organization that is not funded by state sources. It supports programming of student activities, funding of campus organizations and athletics, and the operation of a nationally accredited child development center. Founded in 2005, Camp Jam has served over 20,000 budding musicians. Camp Jam is a nationally recognized program known for its outstanding instructors and curriculum.

The California State Soccer Association – South (Cal South) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable soccer experience for players of all ages, genders, and skill levels throughout its service area that extends from San Luis Obispo to San Diego. As a 501c(3) public benefit corporation, Cal South is officially recognized by the United States Soccer Federation, US Youth Soccer, and the United States Adult Soccer Association. Cal South provides a variety of recreational and competitive soccer opportunities for players, ensuring that everyone – from beginner to advanced – has a chance to enjoy the game.
