Ask for references, and do your own research. Second, consider the amount of extra work and hassles the parents must deal with. Are rehearsals and performances expected to be attended by the parents? Are there many costume changes or additional fees? Are there a lot of rules and regulations that need to be followed? Third, look for studios that offer a big show at the end of the year. A recital is a great way for children to show off all that they have learned, and to gain confidence and satisfaction from their hard work. A well-executed show can also add to the overall enjoyment of being involved in a dance program. Finally, think about the overall experience. Camp Wewa is the perfect spot to hold your next special event! Whether you're looking to bring your team together for a team building retreat, host an educational trip, or plan a fun birthday party, Camp Wewa has something for everyone. Our facilities offer a variety of activities to keep everyone entertained. There is a large pavilion with a fire pit, lake, ropes course and climbing wall, basketball courts, target areas, activity buildings and cabins, outdoor chapel, and a junior Olympic-sized pool. The dining hall is also available to rent for your group. At Camp Wewa, we make sure all your guests are taken care of. At StarChild Academy, we understand the importance of providing an enriching, safe, and secure environment for your child to grow and learn. Our facility is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and proudly serves Apopka, Longwood, Altamonte Springs, and surrounding communities since October 2000. Our daycare services include infant care, toddler care, preschool, Pre-K, VPK, private elementary school, after-school, and summer camp programs. We also offer our families the convenience of an internet camera system that provides access to watch your child throughout the day. What began as a single location with just eight individuals has now grown to 20 locations in Orlando and Tampa, helping over 500 people every day. At Wekiva Youth Camp, sponsored by the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc. (FFGC), young campers in grades 1-8 can connect with nature and learn to appreciate the “real” Florida. Through a variety of activities, campers can build an understanding of conservation and environmental protection, providing a lasting foundation for a brighter future for the state and planet. Accredited by the American Camp Association, Wekiva Youth Camp is the perfect place for enjoying the outdoors while learning important life lessons. Young campers who attend Wekiva Youth Camp will be able to enjoy activities that will help teach them to respect the environment and its conservation. Sponsored by the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc. (FFGC), the camp is accredited by the American Camp Association. This residential nature camp is designed to give campers in grades 1-8 an appreciation for the “real” Florida. Through nature study and other wilderness activities, campers can form an understanding of how to protect the environment for the future. Wekiva Youth Camp is a great opportunity for young campers to explore the outdoors while learning to love and respect the environment. Sponsored by the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc. (FFGC), this residential nature camp is designed for campers in grades 1-8. Accredited by the American Camp Association, the camp activities focus on building an understanding of conservation and environmental protection. Campers will have the chance to learn about the “real” Florida and build a lasting appreciation for the environment.
