From the basics of music to advanced classical and jazz improvisation techniques, students can learn a variety of instruments, including piano, organ, guitar, voice, drums, and more. In addition, the academy provides piano tuning and repair services to the community. The school is highly regarded for its quality instruction and individual attention to each student. It is a member of the Illinois Music Association, and participates in their annual competition and various other area competitions. Recitals are held regularly at a local church, giving students the opportunity to showcase their accomplishments.
