In the grand and marvelous state of New York, a fantastic team of young adventurers, known as the "Kiddie Klimbers," embark on exhilarating hiking expeditions. These pint-sized explorers, with their backpacks brimming with snacks, water bottles, and curiosity, are led by their quirky and lovable guide - Sir Hikes-a-lot.

Sir Hikes-a-lot, with his twinkling blue eyes, bushy white eyebrows, and a smile that glows brighter than the sun, is no ordinary guide. His hat is a bird's nest, and he has a pet squirrel named Nutty riding on his shoulder. He wears mismatched socks because he believes, "Life's too short for matching socks!"

New York, their playground, is much more than just towering skyscrapers and bustling city life. It's a treasure trove of majestic mountains, serene lakes, dense forests, and enchanting wildlife. From the breath-taking Adirondack range to the mysterious charm of the Catskill Mountains, the 'Kiddie Klimbers' traverse through various landscapes, each hike unfolding a new adventure.

These pint-sized explorers conquer every trail with infectious enthusiasm and hearty laughter echoing through the woods, filling the air with a sense of excitement. They playfully compete to spot the most unique bird or the funniest shaped cloud. They hold 'pinecone Olympics' and have contests for the muddiest shoes. No stone is left unturned, and no trail is left unhiked.

Despite the tired legs and the occasional stumbled steps, the end of every hike is met with triumphant high-fives, shared tales of mini-adventures, and the promise of another fun-filled hike with Sir Hikes-a-lot. Skye Farm is one of five camp and retreat centers in the Upper New York Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church. Under the leadership of staff and dedicated volunteers, the camp is supervised by the Executive Director of Camp & Retreat Ministries, and overseen by the Committee on Camp & Retreat Ministries. The mission of Skye Farm is to live the gospel of Jesus Christ and be God’s love with our neighbors in all places. At Skye Farm, we believe in three core truths: that there is a God, that God loves us, and that God desires a relationship with us. All of our activities and programming are designed to reinforce this.

At Delaware County Camp, campers will have the opportunity to form strong bonds with their bunk mates and explore the great outdoors. From cooking and camping to exploring nature, campers will experience a variety of activities and programs designed to offer an enriching experience. In the evenings, campers will gather around the campfire and join in singing songs and enjoying special programs. 

Delaware County Camp provides an unforgettable experience where campers can learn and grow as individuals. Through a variety of activities, campers will develop new skills, build lasting relationships, and create lasting memories. 4-H Camp Shankitunk

Camp Hilltop has been a part of the Hancock, New York community since 1924. This beautiful camp is situated on 600 acres of woodlands and fields, with a private lake, in the picturesque Catskill Mountains, just two and a half hours from New York City. This summer camp offers a variety of activities, including water skiing, wakeboarding, trapeze, hiking, horses, climbing tower, high ropes, and many sports, performing arts and arts and crafts. We strive to provide a safe, nurturing and non-competitive environment, with a four to one camper to counselor ratio, overseen by a mature, skilled and caring staff. 

Camp Hilltop is more than just a summer camp; it’s a place where children and young adults can find a friendly and fun community and explore the wondrous possibilities in their lives. Whether it be for two weeks or eight, we provide a safe and supportive environment that encourages campers to develop their skills, build relationships, and grow in confidence.

For seven weeks each summer, Point O’Pines is a magical place for our campers to make memories that will last a lifetime. Friends of Camp Little Notch have created a breathtaking paradise for campers to enjoy. With 443 acres of pristine Adirondack wilderness and a private 80-acre lake, the property is ideal for a summer camp experience. But Camp Little Notch is more than a summer camp - it offers a range of programming including CLN-sponsored retreats, family programs, and private rentals for individuals, families, weddings, and businesses. These programs aim to connect people with nature while building self-confidence, forming strong relationships, and fostering an appreciation of the natural world.

Camp Nabby has been providing Westchester County families with summer fun since 1940. In 1970, the Bertino family, led by Frank and Flo, became the second owners of the then-called Nabby Day Camp. As an experienced educator and coach, Frank was eager to take on the challenge of creating a top-notch physical education program from the ground up.

Prior to coming to Camp Nabby, Frank and Flo had spent 44 years at Riverdale Country School in the Bronx, where Frank held a distinguished record as an administrator and teacher. His greatest accomplishments, however, were on the football field: in four decades of coaching, Frank led Riverdale teams to an impressive 17 undefeated seasons and 17 Ivy Preparatory School League championships, with a final record of 247‑47‑6.

Camp Nabby is a beloved Westchester summer day camp that has been creating lasting memories for families since 1940.
