They're known as the Woolly Warriors, and they knit like they're creating magical spells. They knit at parks, on school buses, even while eating their favorite cheddar cheese sandwiches. Leading the Woolly Warriors is a cool, imaginary character named Knitnoggin. Knitnoggin is a friendly, laughing llama who wears the most spectacular knitted cap you've ever seen. He's the one who first taught the kids of Wisconsin how to transform ordinary yarn into extraordinary creations. From cozy socks that can make your toes wiggle with joy, to dazzling scarves that can wrap you in a warm hug, Knitnoggin and the kids create it all. But that's not all. The funniest part about Knitnoggin is his magical sneeze. When he sneezes, a flutter of colorful yarn flies out from his nose and instantly becomes a knitted masterpiece. It's a sight that makes everyone chuckle! Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations.
