Deep in the heart of the Lone Star State of Texas, where the cowboy hats are as big as the hearts of those who wear them, lies an adventurous world waiting to be explored by a bunch of young, eager cowpokes. Our story takes us through the mesquite-covered plains, past the cattle ranches, and into the heart of the cities where the skyscrapers reach up to tickle the belly of the sky. Now, gather 'round, lil' partners, for an adventure of Texas-sized proportions with your unflappable guide, Tumbleweed Ted! He's a tumbleweed with a ten-gallon hat, a pair of spurs, and a love for Texas trivia that's as wide as the Rio Grande. Tumbleweed Ted is the best tour guide this side of the Pecos! He loves nothing more than to take Texas kids on epic field trips filled with laughter, learning, and a fair share of loco antics! Imagine a busload of kids, as lively as a box of jumping beans, heading out on a grand Texas field trip. They're as diverse as the state's flora and fauna, their eyes shine brighter than the stars at a Hill Country night, their laughter rings louder than a Longhorn's bellow. Field trips are their passport to a world beyond the classroom, where every park is a playground, every museum is a time machine, and every historical monument tells a tale. Whether they're exploring the dramatic cliffs and caverns of Big Bend National Park, retracing the steps of heroes at the Alamo, or launching their dreams sky-high at the Space Center Houston, these kids have an insatiable curiosity and a spirit as wild and free as the tumbleweeds rolling across the Texas plains. They know, deep in their hearts, that the best way to learn about this great state of Texas is to experience it, and boy, do they experience it! So, hold onto your hats and join Tumbleweed Ted and his gang of intrepid explorers on their next Texas-sized adventure. Yee-haw!

Our camp offers a breathtaking panorama of the serene river and the vast open spaces of the blackland prairie. Our natural terrain and indigenous landscape offer our visitors a much-needed respite from the hustle and bustle of the modern world.
