In the vast and proud state of Texas, where the tumbleweeds roll like bowling balls and the armadillos are as ornery as a cowboy who's dropped his chili, there’s a special group of kids who embrace the art of pottery. You'll find these imaginative youngsters huddled over pottery wheels, their hands adorably smeared with clay, sculpting masterpieces that would make a roadrunner stop in its tracks. Meet Clayborne, the magical pottery cowboy. He isn't your average Texas character, oh no siree! He’s a lanky fellow whose ten-gallon hat is always slightly askew, and his boots are as dusty as a rattlesnake's rattle. His heart is as big as a Texas sky, and he's got a twinkle in his eye that could outshine the North Star. He helps guide the pottery kids, transforming simple lumps of clay into remarkable wonders. Clayborne doesn’t ride a horse; his steed is a giant magical pottery wheel called "Whirlin' Whiskers", who spins faster than a twister in a field of Texas Bluebonnets. The kids in Texas are as diverse as the wildflowers that dot the prairies, but they all share a love for pottery. You'll see them at Clayborne's side, laughing as their pottery spins out of control or whooping in joy when they mold the perfect chili bowl. Whether it's crafting a mug big enough for a Texan's morning coffee or sculpting a cactus that looks so real it prickles your fingers, these kids are the heart of the pottery scene. They are the Texas Pottery Posse, and under Clayborne's watchful eye and with Whirlin' Whiskers' help, they're creating a world of clay-filled fun that's as big and as bold as Texas itself!
